Lean overview and workplace organization provides understanding of the context and vocabulary of lean manufacturing, including: the history and purposes of lean manufacturing, the Toyota Production System, principles of workplace organization, and 5S workplace organization process: Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
